I̢۪m a Somerset based painter.

The majority of my work is inspired by the surrounding landscape. Sometimes it is purely representational, but at others the sense of pattern and underlying rhythm of the landscape may provoke a more stylised approach. More recently a reflection on past spaces and journeys has resulted in a growing number of abstract paintings. I imagine that this slightly chameleon like approach reflects the uncertain pattern of my life. Colour has become increasingly important.
